The Chinese Space Program is truly one of the wonders of the world, at least to me. It seems a little odd that a country which still needs economic help, uh, like zillions of yen in Grant Aid, Loan Aid and Technical Cooperation from neighbors like Japan would spend a good chunk of it to put a couple of people in space. I'm wondering to why Japan doesn't demand a little more respect for the goodwill it extends (I'm not blind to the self-interest of Japan. Can you say market development?) In any case, a little propaganda seems to make the spaceships fly better. As do dogs and cats too.
